A high-end hair salon on the renowned Granville Street row needed an easily manageable solution for booking appointments, customer record management, scheduling, point-of-sale, and back-office record-keeping.

Mac Station recommended Salon Transcripts STX, an all-in-one solution for salon managers/owners that want to drive attention to their business though the breathtaking design of Mac hardware. Mac Station worked closely with Jessica, the salon’s owner, and the salon’s receptionist to coach them through the entire process. In addition, we met with the salon’s stylists to see if there were features that we could make work for them. A 24” iMac was ideal for providing ample room to work and manage multiple applications (such as Mail, iWork, iChat, and Salon Transcripts). A Time Capsule provided backup and wireless networking, and the ability to print receipts/invoices was handled by a Lexmark e120 Network Printer.

Mac Station’s specialists oversaw implementation and setup, and within a day the salon was up-and-running with their complete solution.  Stratosphere is very pleased with the results and has joined the ranks of  cutting-edge salons that utilize Salon Transcripts STX.
